If you are interested in adult movies (aka porno) than I've got what used to be the Usenet newsgoup for you: alt.sex.movies. Obviously, it being an alt.sex.* group, it is now a complete wasteland of commercials and spam, but fortunately rec.arts.movies.erotica, a moderated spin-off of a.s.m., has been set up where we can still read all about smut without having to wade thru mountains of spam.
Both groups are dedicated to discussions about erotic movies, and we even have some real life industry insiders there who participate in our discussions...
You are more than welcome to participate, but to make sure you won't ask us all these questions we have all heard a gazillion times before please read the FAQ for our group first.
 This document will answer many of the questions you have ever wondered about (and some you never even thought of) where porno movies and the industry that creates them are concerned.
It is posted bi-weekly to the newsgroup, and is also available from various sources on the Internet.
