Jeremy & Shanna McCollough in straight film Date: 30 Apr 1995 09:52:59 GMT Organization: Internet America Lines: 19 Message-ID: <[email protected]> NNTP-Posting-Host: ppp127.iadfw.net X-Newsreader: AIR News 3.X (SPRY, Inc.) Status: RO I rented Housewife From Hell (an R-rated movie) just to see Ron Jeremy's performance. This low budget movie, the script, his acting, and most of the acting was pretty bad. The best way to describe it is imagine an adult film without any on-screen hardcore sex. Yeah, you got it. Another reason I rented it was because I heard Shanna McCollough was in it. She was, though not under her name, but rather under the name of Candi Fleeman. If she's going to have a straight acting career, I can understand why she doesn't want to use her porn name, but she's gotta come up with something better than Candi Fleeman. More likely she realized the lack of quality of this film and decided she didn't want to be associated with it. She played Serena, the boss's wife, and did not appear on screen until more than halfway through the movie. There was a good deal of female nudity by women who may well have been porn stars I did not recognize. I really enjoyed the movie Killing Zoie, and will have to watch it again to see Ron Jeremy's brief performance. If his acting is anything like it was in Housewife From Hell, I'm glad he got blown away quickly in Killing Zoie. In whatever straight films he appears, I'm sure he comes accross as not an actor, but Ron Jeremy. This severely limits his nonporn career. I'm not saying it's hopeless. I think he would have worked out great in Pulp Fiction--I would have loved to have seen Samuel E. Jackson blow him away.
