One of the most common rejections we send out has to do with improper formatting by sending HTML messages to RAME. RAME (like most of Usenet) is a text only newsgroup, and HTML posts are rejected.

So to make things easier for the newbi posters, we have prepared a quick primer on how to successfully post to RAME using Outlook Express.

TURNING OFF HTML

There's a bunch of ways to do this, pick your favorite:

1. ON A MESSAGE-BY-MESSAGE BASIS

When you compose the message, click on "FORMAT" in the menu bar and make sure "PLAIN TEXT" is selected.

2. ON A PER ADDRESS BASIS

Right click on RAME's address book entry and choose "PROPERTIES"

Check the box that says "Send e-mail using plain text only."

3. FOR ALL MESSAGES

Click TOOLS, OPTIONS

Click the SEND tab

If you e-mail us, make sure "Mail Sending Format" is PLAIN TEXT

If you use a news server, make sure "News Sending Format" is PLAIN TEXT.

4. ON A PER NEWS SERVER BASIS

Click Tools, Accounts

Click the NEWS tab

Double click on the server you use to post to RAME

Click the ADVANCED Tab

Put a check box next to "Ignore news sending format and post using:" and select PLAIN TEXT

Questions about adult movies should be posted or mailed to the newsgroup rec.arts.movies.erotica. The staff at the above addresses cannot answer your questions; the folks in the newsgroup probably can.
